we have positively identified the Mouser in the House-O-Pugs

Last night Rufus was standing over his latest catch/kill. This time it was a rat..... ugh! Thankfully all he does is kill the pests and bring them to us, no munching involved. Mom is going to call the vet to see if he needs anymore shots. too bad we live near some fields and those pests are looking for somewere warm for the winter I guess. it doesn't seem as if summer has really arrived except for maybe 5 days this year. Mom is still wearing sweaters, using the heaters at work, heavy blankets at night (we love the blankies, good for snuggling). this WA weather is for the birds or fish.
btw Mom's daughter and son-in-law were able to get insurance and Nikki (her daughter) is now on seizure meds.
only 2 more weeks until Mom goes to FL to see her kids and grandson. this time she's flying by herself, everyone else is staying home. she'll also get to her her new grand-puppy, a little girl. she's debating on whether to get her a little dress or puppy chewing toys. any suggestions?

we have a mouser in the house

today I was scratching at the back door for Dad to let me back in. One of the twins had a very recently caught dead mouse in his mouth! and he was trying to bring it inside the house! keep him away from me please. I tried telling him that us pugs are not to catch mice, that's what cats are for, and ucky things like that do not belong in the house. But would he listen to me? nope. Dad took the mouse away and threw it away. Here's hoping there's no more mouse catching by the twins!
